The 5th studio album 'Arirang' by BTS has achieved high rankings on both domestic and international weekly charts.
Hanteo Chart, an album sales tracking site, reported on the 30th that BTS's album 'Arirang' reached the top spot on the weekly world and album charts during the tracking period from March 23 to 29. Released on the 20th of March, it climbed to the number one position in the third week of March within three days and maintained its leading status for two weeks in a row.

The American music media outlet Billboard released a preview article on the 30th stating that 'Arirang' has reached the number one position on the main album chart, Billboard 200, for the chart dated April 4. The album debuted with 641,000 album units, achieving the highest weekly performance for a group album since unit tracking began in December 2014, including 532,000 pure album sales from physical and digital purchases. This represents a new record for the highest weekly sales of a group album in over ten years.
BTS also led in global music charts. The group topped the weekly charts on Spotify, a global audio and music streaming platform, from March 20 to 26, in categories including 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists'. The album's title track 'SWIM' was number one on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global', with all 14 tracks from the album appearing in the top 30.
'SWIM' held the top position on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' for 9 days and 7 days, respectively, from March 20 to 28 and March 23 to 29. All tracks from the album continue to feature on current chart rankings across these platforms, maintaining significant popularity with global music fans even ten days post-release.
BTS is set to perform the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on April 9, 11, and 12. In October, the tour will include performances in South American stadiums, covering countries such as Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 shows, encompassing locations like Goyang, North America, Europe, and Tokyo, Japan, have been sold out in advance, highlighting the group's strong ticket sales capacity.
